I'd be uneasy with anyone as President whom I believe presented themselves throughout as something different than I suspect they'll turn out to be.

If I could believe his more positive pronouncements, I'd be happier.

Anyway, sorry, don't mean to start a political debate, cutting off now.Sarebearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09208596053319110470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26666124.post-85173177434248352282009-01-22T04:05:00.000-05:002009-01-22T04:05:00.000-05:00NYTimes said 2 million people. They were attentive and polite, even the students who may not have been happy that he had been elected. Several of them even gave up the bulk of their lunch period so that they wouldn't miss anything (we had a bit of a picnic later though!). Truly, it was a good day.Catherinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18012100875719616898noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26666124.post-85515705161295829612009-01-20T23:51:00.000-05:002009-01-20T23:51:00.000-05:00Congratulations on being part of the most exciting...Congratulations on being part of the most exciting inauguration of my lifetime!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26666124.post-58768149984166251062009-01-20T22:57:00.000-05:002009-01-20T22:57:00.000-05:00I've been wondering how it was "on the ground" tod...I've been wondering how it was "on the ground" today -- wow -- sounds like a madhouse.

And as it happens, I was at the Postal Museum, one of the few buildings I saw from the inside on my recent trip to DC. So now I feel somehow distantly apart of the inauguration, thanks to your post. It's a stretch, but it's all I've got.shrink on the couchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13271891110211081990noreply@blogger.com
