I apologize for redundancy if my original comment surfaces.<br /><br />Andrew Solomon is such a talented writer and speaker. I first read his book, The Noonday Demon many years ago as an undergrad, when I wondered if I could be suffering from depression. It was some years before I was diagnosed and treated for bipolar. Now I sit in yet another depression, and am reassured by his talk that there is hope after all, and perhaps I am not as fat, lazy, and unmotivated as I would believe.
